the time has come to revamp my shouts section. as i have grown and matured, ive truly realized who my real friends are. both good and bad experiences do different things to different people.. its just a matter of who is the most flexible and resilient. ive seen friends crack under pressure and others grow stronger. life is a quest to discover yourself, and it can be hard to accept the real you without your friends to cover the image you think you are. i have so many people to thank for getting me this far, yet i know ill miss quite a few. but you all know who you are, and thank you. you have no idea how important you are. with all that said, here are those [in no particular order] who have deeply influenced my life and the way it has turned out:

ping and pong: its so cornball to think that my fish are on my list, but it seems that they somehow seem to have the answer to everything. thanks for the hidden messages.

cindy: so many memories.. scuba diving, wonderland, girly sleepovers, etc. thanks for keeping me sane through the school year, and for letting me call you past your irregular "bed time" for quick assignment fixes. thanks for letting me copy french, and for putting up with me. its been a blast hanging with you, and you know youre like a sister/gerbil owner to me. :D i appreciate everything!!

sylvia: ah, yes. the lost one! thanks for being clueless with me, and for taking on charles' criticism of our intelligence bravely. great memories of sporks, parapara, and ddr. i suppose we will never be good at the last two. thanks for being stupid with me, and for understanding my screwed up way of thinking. remember, you are beautiful in your own strange way. keep it cool!!

michelle: thanks for the great memories! you have been a wonderful inspiration in my quest to learn cantonese, and i will never forget the blissful days at the photocopier. say hi to donut boy and mario, and his crazy friends. he goes to my church, dontcha know? small world, but you know youre a big part of it. crazy four hour phone calls, its all good.

kennedy: well, its been a blast. its hard to imagine what wouldve happened if you hadnt come along when you did. life is weird.. it throws you a sudden curve ball and youre just expected to react suddenly. i dont know how long this will last, but i do know that you have been the most understanding person i could ever ask for. god bless, L.

nolan: :D naw, im just playin wit chu!! seriously though, in the small amount of time that ive known you, youve been a big inspiration to me. i look at your life, and i see an amazingly strong person. i doubt that i could survive through what you have. take care of cin, and remember that ill always be a friend you can turn to.

tiago: that night you called, all the memories flooded back to me. remember that time i had to wash the paintbrushes with you in grade two and you turned the tap to freezing cold? and that valentines day when you gave me the biggest card but told everybody that you didnt like me? :) thanks for it all. im really grateful to you for remembering good times, and helping me to remember them too. you were a great friend back then and you still are. "sunshine makes our paintings dry!!"

kenneth: well, you are the odd one out. after talking to you and listening to your troubles, i learn how to put my own life into perspective. its amazing what you can learn from others, and ive learned a lot from you. remember that the human spirit is the strongest thing, and that you have lots of it. stay true to yourself, and know that ill be here for you when you need me.

mrs. empson: the only teacher that i can still remember. thanks for helping me to realize my potential, and for enlightening me on the nature of frogs. you are a beautiful person, and my life has been enriched by your teaching. keep on shining and buying crazy watches!!

honourable mention: these are the people who have left small but deep footprints in my life. since i am currently suffering from rigor mortis in my fingers, im sure you will all forgive. thanks for being there, and you each know how much you mean to me. i am truly grateful for the memories you have given to enrich my life, and for the part of yourselves that you have lent to me. never forget who you are, and remember who your friends are!! so here we go:
